HUNTINGDON — A drug sweep this morning is targeting nine suspects across Huntingdon County, District Attorney George Zanic said in a news release.
More than 40 law-enforcement officers are involved in the operation, which will result in more than 30 drug-related charges, Zanic said.
The sweep is a combined effort that also includes the state attorney general’s office, state police, the Huntingdon County Drug Task Force, the Huntingdon County sheriff’s department, the state game commission, the fish and boat commission and police officers from Huntingdon, Juniata Valley and Mount Union.
Suspects will be arraigned before District Judge Douglas Gummo at the Huntingdon County Courthouse.
