Ex-Penn State student Dell rows to bronze medal at Olympics

— Former Penn State student Natalie Dell earned a bronze medal early Wednesday morning in rowing at the Summer Olympics.

Dell, a native of Everett and a 2007 graduate who was with Penn State's rowing club, was a part of the U.S. team in women's quadruple sculls during the event at Eton Dorney.

Dell teamed up with Adrienne Martelli, Megan Kalmoe and Kara Kohler for a time of 6:40.63 in the finals. They finished behind gold-medal-winning Ukraine and Germany.
