A Pleasant Gap man is behind bars after he was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a girl on Tuesday.

According to the charging documents, Michael T. Price, 32, of 182 S. Main St., told Spring Township police the incident

began with him tickling the girl while she was on the floor and escalated to him taking off her pants.

Price told police he started rubbing against the girl and stopped after he ejaculated, police wrote in the charging documents.

“I sexually assaulted her,” police quoted Price as telling them during an interview.

The girl told police she tried to kick and

push him away, and that he told her no and kept holding her down, police said.

Police said the alleged incident happened around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, and police interviewed Price at his home around 10:20 p.m.

Price was arraigned Wednesday morning by District Judge Tom Jordan and jailed on $25,000 bail.

He is charged with felony counts of unlawful contact with minors and corruption of minors and a misdemeanor count of indecent assault.

Price is scheduled for a preliminary hearing next week. Online court records do not show that Price has retained an attorney.
