The seventh annual E.F. “Pat” Houser memorial golf tournament was held July 9 at Toftrees Resort in Patton Township in support of The Skills Foundation and Skills of Central Pennsylvania.

Golfers raised $28,467, a record for the event, to benefit programs that help adults with disabilities obtain employment and live independent lives. Penn State men’s basketball coach Pat Chambers and former Penn State football coach Jay Paterno spoke at the tournament.
