More than 100 artists, visitors and community members attended the opening of Schlow Centre Region Library’s third annual Juried Exhibition on July 12.

The exhibition featured more than 60 submissions. Ruth Kempner won first prize for “Shooting Gallery,” second place went to Dennis Charriere for “Rasheika Rothchild” and third was awarded to Sean Bodley for “The Thought Lounge.”

Kristine Stryker’s “Portal” won the best student work prize.

Patricia House, director of the Bellefonte Art Museum, judged the works.
