Penn State's football uniforms will feature two new twists.
The athletic department announced today that the team will wear blue ribbons to support child abuse victims, and players' names will be placed on the back of jerseys to honor their resolve and dedication to the team and university.
The ribbons and names are the first major changes Penn State has made to its game-day look since Bill O'Brien's hiring in January.
O'Brien has hinted throughout the summer that further changes might be revealed during the Sept. 1 opener against Ohio University at Beaver Stadium.
