Calling all youngsters: We’re looking for sketches of what Grange Fair means to you in this contest sponsored by the Centre Daily Times and the Grange Fair Committee.

Children 12 and younger may submit sketches on 81⁄2 by 11-inch or smaller paper. Only one sketch per child is accepted.

Each drawing must include the young artist’s name and parents’ or guardians’ names; the child’s age, grade and school; home address/tent address and phone number. All drawings must be received by Wednesday, Aug. 30 at noon.

Drop drawings off at the CDT tent at the fair or at the Centre Daily Times office during business hours at 3400 E. College Ave., State College.

The CDT and the Grange Fair Committee will have the rights to the drawings. Winners will be announced at 6 p.m. Aug. 30, and winning drawings will run in the CDT.

Prizes are: first place, $30 gift certificate to the Emporium; second place, $20 gift certificate, third place, $10 gift certificate.
