It just occurred to me that we’re preaching to the choir.

Fred Belair’s wonderful letter, “Sanctions a spear through the heart” (CDT Monday), is aimed at the wrong audience — as have been other letters.

It’s fine, and necessary, to send letters to the CDT, but they should also go to the Indianapolis Star so that the bozos at the NCAA can get a glimpse of what they’ve put us innocent Penn Staters through. They couldn’t care less what we write to our local paper.

So, I encourage writers to dust off their precious letter or letters and bombard the Indianapolis Star with outrage.

I think the citizenry of Indianapolis should know what the NCAA has done from the front lines and not what has filtered down through the media.

Send letters to the Indianapolis Star at www.indystar.com. It may not help, but it’ll share the pain and let the NCAA families see what their folks have done to us. Jerry Sawyer State College
