UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State's Christine Nairn was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
The senior midfielder netted a penalty kick score against No. 1 Stanford on Friday in a 3-2 loss and scored twice, while assisting on another, in a 5-0 blanking of Central Michigan on Sunday. Nairn has five goals this season, already surpassing her total from last year. Penn State heads to West Virginia on Friday.
