Lewistown woman arrested in College Township on heroin charges

A 24-year-old Lewistown woman faces felony drug charges after allegedly selling heroin to police in a controlled buy in College Township.

State police said Martina Molek sold four bags of heroin Wednesday to an informant near the Wal-Mart on Benner Pike.

Troopers later seized 138 bags of heroin from a black lock box in her vehicle, which was parked in the Walmart lot, according to a criminal complaint filed Thursday.

Police said the arrest stems from information they received that “individuals” from the State College area were traveling to Philadelphia to purchase heroin for resale in Centre County.

Following the controlled buy Wednesday, the informant told police that Molek was using heroin during the sale.

She then went into Walmart to go grocery shopping and was arrested after she exited the store, police wrote in the criminal complaint.

After serving a search warrant on her vehicle, police seized 138 bags of heroin, $694 in cash and drug paraphernalia.

Molek was charged with felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver, and a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance.
