Penn States Bus Research and Test Center will be featured on the CBS news program Sunday Morning.
Reporters for the segment, which will focus on bus safety, interviewed the centers director, David Klinikowski, and Fullington Bus Co. owner Mike Fullington.
Part of the Thomas D. Larson Pennsylvania Transportation Institute at Penn State, the bus center was authorized by the Federal Transit Administration to perform rigorous reviews of any new-model buses that a manufacturer intends to make available for purchase by municipalities, according to a Penn State release.
The bus center has examined more than 300 buses, documenting thousands of malfunctions, since 1989, according to the release.
Sunday Morning airs at 9 a.m. Sunday.
