Centre Hall man waives burglary, harassment hearing

Published: September 6, 2012

— A Centre Hall man charged with felony burglary waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday in county court.

Michele Albegiani, 37, is accused of going into a Centre Hall residence and punching a man July 16, according to the charging documents.

The man suffered a contusion on his face, police said.

Albegiani told police he thought the man was the reason behind Children and Youth Services showing up at his house, and so he wanted to confront the man.

Police said Albegiani pushed open a door at the man’s house, went in and began hitting him.

In addition to burglary, Albegiani is charged with misdemeanor trespassing and a summary count of harassment.
