— The status of Penn State's two leading rushers remains unclear as the Nittany Lions prepare to face Navy on Saturday at Beaver Stadium.

Coach Bill O'Brien said at his weekly news conference today that sophomore Bill Belton and senior Derek Day are "day to day." Belton suffered an ankle injury in the opener against Ohio. Day injured his shoulder in the third quarter of last weekend's loss at Virginia.

Both players are listed as "possible" on the weekly injury report.

Junior Curtis Dukes and sophomore Zach Zwinak are the top options if Belton and Day can't play against Navy.

O'Brien also said fullback Michael Zordich could receive more carries Saturday.

"That's a pretty solid group and we have to keep grinding away with those guys," O'Brien said.
