CHARLESTON, S.C. — The Penn State women’s golf team finished the College of Charleston Cougar Classic 13th out of 24 teams on Tuesday, finishing with a three-round score of 885.
Penn State finished 26 just three strokes behind Wisconsin, and ahead of ranked teams including LSU and South Carolina.
Junior Christina Vosters finished with a third straight round of 71 to tie for sixth place at 3-under 69. Ellen Ceresko finished at 2-over 74 for a tie for 25th place, while, Elyse Archambault finished at 5-over 77 for the tournament.
Florida won the team title after posting a three-day 852, as Duke (858) finished six strokes behind for second place.
Florida’s Camilla Hedberg was the individual champion with a three-day, 13-under 203, four strokes better than runner-up Lindy Duncan of Duke.
