WAYZATA, Minn. — Two Penn State players failed to sign their scorecards on Sunday to eliminate Lions from team competition on Sunday, as senior Jay Woodward's 11-over 227 was enough for a 19th-place individual finish on Monday at the Gopher Invitational.

Woodward was able to start his senior season off strong for Penn State at the Spring Hill Golf Club, powered by a 2-over 72 in Monday's final round. Anthony DeGol finished tied for 48th at 18-over 234.

California won the team with a 2-under 862, while Kent State's Corey Connors was the individual champion with a three-day 3-under 213.
