WINGATE — The Eagles came out on top after Jarred Maurer netted the ball in the 12th minute to secure a 1-0 win over Clearfield on Tuesday.
Clearfield took seven shots on goal and BEA keeper Ben Leskovansky was able to stop all of them from going through as he recorded his third shutout in a row for the winners.
BEA (4-1) will try to earn its fifth win as they host Philipsburg-Osceola at 7 p.m. today.
