Excuse me, but did I hear that Congress is returning to session in our capital but has made it known that members don’t expect to do much of any work until after the elections? Maybe not even then.
Would it be possible for us, the taxpayers, to reply to that by withholding their paychecks for this time period? We elected (hired) them to see to the needs and issues of their constituents, which surely never takes a holiday.
What is this arrogance, and what example is it of American work ethic?
Do they wonder if we will re-elect any of them?
