UNIVERSITY PARK — The sixth-ranked Penn State field hockey team shut out border rival Lock Haven 5-0 on Wednesday night at Nittany Lion Lacrosse Field.
The Nittany Lions (6-2) had five different in Ashtin Klinger, Laura Gebhart, Hannah Allison, Kelsey Amy and Taylor Herold. Gebhart and Amy also recorded assists, while Whitney Reddig finished the night with two assists for Penn State.
Ayla Halus and Kylie Licata combined for five saves in the net for the Lions.
Kelsey Moore had four saves for the Bald Eagles (4-3), as Penn State outshot Lock Haven 22-7, and held a 7-5 advantage in penalty corners.
