State Rep. Kerry Benninghoff is nice at home but not in Harrisburg.
At home, he does people favors and talks about caring and sharing. But in Harrisburg he works for bad laws written by out-of-state lobbyists who donate thousands of dollars to him.
Benninghoff led the fight for Act 13, the law that banned local townships from regulating fracking. That section of Act 13 was recently declared unconstitutional by the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, which called it irrational. This is what passes for law-making in Harrisburg.
Enough. We are tired of having our values and priorities misrepresented. If people want to change Harrisburg, they have to change who they vote to represent them on Nov. 6.
Fortunately, theres an alternative to Benninghoff this year. Christopher Lee has a longstanding commitment to local values that comes from being elected and serving as chairman of numerous local government organizations.
Hes intelligent and independent and can do a much better job making laws that help us, not the out-of-state lobbyists polluting our environment.
