HOUTZDALE — Jordyn Powell scored two goals and assisted on two more as Philipsburg-Osceola blitzed Moshannon Valley 6-1.
The Lady Mounties (2-2) raced to a 5-1 halftime lead on goals by Powell,Neili Belko, Alayna Bertothy, Jackie Zawisa and Megan Risch. Powell scored the lone goal of the second half for P-O, which had a 23-5 edge in shots. KeeperCar-ley Hahn also made 10 saves.
The Lady Mounties hosted a “pink-out” game for Philipsburg resident Lois Rea, who was made honorary captain for the contest.
