MARTINSBURG — Jordan Newman and Tyler Rhoads each scored a pair of goals as the Bellefonte boys’ soccer team dominated in a 6-1 victory against Central on Monday.
The Red Raiders (4-3) scored the first six goals and held a 34-5 edge in shots. Dakota Nixdorf and Gage Wert also scored, while Andrew Stover added an assist.
“We got a lot of shots on goal,” Bellefonte coach Scott Martz said. “Grant Stone did great job controlling the midfield and did great job getting the ball to our guys up front.”
Shane Kaschalk and Jake Mann had two saves each for Bellefonte. Eric Trexler scored on a penalty kick and Tristen Greenland registered 22 saves for Central.
