HERSHEY — Penns Valleys Michael Decker and Bellefontes Mitchell Smith each posted top-20 finishes at the PIAA Foundation Meet at Hersheypark.
Decker finished seventh in the White Class A Division to pace the Rams, completing the 5-kilometer course in 17 minutes, 29 seconds. The Rams finished 17th as a team with 338 points.
Sam Williams of team champion Northeast Bradford, which won with 73 points, was the overall winner in 16:33.
Kyle Houser (67th, 20:03), Nick Fuller (87th, 20:45), Isaac Duvall (88th, 20:47) and Adam Mothersbaugh (89th, 20:51) also had top-100 finishes for the Rams.
In the Blue Class AA race, Smith notched a clocking of 17:46 to take 18th for the Red Raiders, who had 421 points to finish 14th. He was joined in the top 100 by Andrew ODonnell (81st, 19:13) and Matthew Dabiero (88th, 19:24).
Daniel Jaskowak of Grove City took first overall in 16:19, while Pottsgrove won the team title with 85 points.
