The Pleasant Gap driver’s license center, normally closed on Mondays, will be open on Monday, Nov. 5, the day before this year’s presidential election.

The center and several dozen others will be open that day to accommodate those who need last-minute assistance acquiring photo identification, now required at the polls in Pennsylvania.

The local center is at 812 W. College Ave., Pleasant Gap, and typically is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
