Artwork created at an artist retreat in the area over the past 15 years will be on display this month in Millheim.
The Green Drake Gallery and Art Center will feature works by more than two dozen artists from Hameau Farm artist retreats in Belleville.
Held twice annually for the past 15 years, each retreat “provides artists with time and inspiration to learn and move forward with their work,” said Dana Morrison, assistant manager at the Green Drake.
Susan Nicholas Gephart, a Bellefonte artist and a driving force behind the retreats, selected the artwork that will be highlighted for the Green Drake show.
An opening reception will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the gallery on West Main Street.
The free event will feature music by Richard Sleigh & Friends starting at 7 p.m. Some of the featured artists will give a talk at 8:30 p.m.
The show will remain at the gallery through Oct. 28, according to Morrison.
