State police charged people in five separate incidents after traffic stops over a 12-hour period Friday night and Saturday morning along state Route 192 in Miles Township.
When contacted Sunday night, a state police trooper said there had been a “private gathering” in the area, and said more information would be released today.
Police made the following arrests:
• Michael Brumbaugh, 33, and Brooke Brumbaugh, 28, both of Lock Haven, after a traffic stop at 7:37 p.m. Friday for possession of a small amount of marijuana.
• Cody Kipp, 18, of Reedsville, on suspicion of DUI charges around 8:45 p.m. Friday.
• Austin Cardarelli, 18, of Yeagertown, on suspicion of DUI charges and for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia around 8:45 p.m. Friday.
• Michelle Schepise, 27, Christine Guthrie, 33, and Samantha Miller, 22, all of State College, after a traffic stop at 2:09 a.m. Saturday. Schepise was arrested on suspicion of DUI while under the influence of marijuana, and all were arrested for possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
An 18-year-old and two 17-year-olds, whom police did not identify, are facing charges after they were found in possession of a stolen .380-caliber handgun after a traffic stop at 8:44 a.m. Saturday.
