Ithaca College placekicker Garrett Nicholson has been named the Empire 8 Football Special Teams Player of the week.
Nicholson, a sophomore from State College, kicked two field goals and four extra points in Saturday's 40-21 win over Frostburg State.
For the season Nicholson has made 4 of 5 field goal attempts and all 15 extra point kicks. Ithaca is 4-0.

Golf
Brian Charles (State College, Goshen College) shot an 88-94-182 as Goshen finished 15th in a 15-team field in the Battle at Blackthorn over the weekend.
