TYRONE Philipsburg-Osceola held a decisive edge in shots but could not convert on any of them as the Mounties and Tyrone played to 0-0 tie.
Jay Prentice made five saves for the shutout, including stuffing Alex Bartlett on a penalty kick midway through the second half. The shutout was the 18th of Prentices career.
P-O (6-1-4), which played the fifth of a stretch of seven games in 10 days, played to a scoreless tie for the second straight game and into overtime for the fourth time in five games.
Were not playing right but mostly its from fatigue, P-O coach Shawn Inlow said. Weve had our chances but were not converting, and mostly its from fatigue. Its going to be a real test but we have to get through this.
