— Holly and Dave Harpster won a 2012 Jaguar XF at the 7th annual reverse car drawing on Sept. 20 at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.

For a shot at the car, about 600 guests purchased 357 tickets. Taking in $135,000, the event primarily benefitted the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge through Coaches vs. Cancer and the Bestwick Foundation. It also supported the Bob Perks Cancer Fund, Centre Volunteers in Medicine, the Mount Nittany Medical Center Cancer Unit and families and individuals affected by cancer.

The Penn State Blue Band, Tommy Wareham and Pure Cane Sugar provided entertainment, and skydivers greeted the crowd with Penn State and American flags. Local resident Jamie Bestwick, a legendary BMX Vert cyclist, was in Europe on a charity bike ride but he addressed the guests via the ballpark scoreboard, thanking them for their contributions.
