Penn State to hold concussion conference this week

Penn State will host a conference on athletic concussions Thursday and Friday at The Nittany Lion Inn, featuring experts in brain injury, including members of the NFL's Head, Neck and Spine Committee.

Conference topics include current developments in clinical assessments of sport-related concussions, effects of concussive blows, and advancing brain imaging tools.

Walk-in registration will be available from 7 to 8:05 a.m. Thursday at The Nittany Lion Inn, with the conference beginning immediately afterward. The conference fee is $300.
