Former Philipsburg-Osceola standout Zack Czap had a big day as Lycoming posted its fifth straight win, a 42-7 romp over FDU-Florham Saturday.

Czap, a junior kicker, was 6-for-6 on extra points and also booted a 70-yard punt, the first 70-plus punt for Lycoming since 1996.

For the season Czap has now made 17 of 19 PATs and is 2-for-4 in field goals.

After losing its first game Lycoming has surged to a 5-1 record.

Shane Dorner (State College, Lafayette) has nine solo and 11 assisted tackles, four and one-half tackles for loss for minus 12 yards, one pass breakup and one pass defended. Lafayette is 3-2.

Logan Belinda (State College, Westminster) has one assisted tackle and 32 all-purpose yards.

Colby Way (State College, Buffalo) has 16 solo tackles and nine assists five tackles for loss for minus 12 yards and four sacks for minus eight yards.

Cross Country

Matt Brooker (Penns Valley, Cedarville) led Cedarville to a win in the Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational. Brooker ran the 8K course in 24:41, 19 seconds faster than the second-place finisher. Cedarville is ranked 14th among Division II schools.

Golf

Brian Charles (State College, Goshen College) finished the fall portion of his schedule with an 89-88 177 in the St. Francis Invitational.
