ALTOONA State College’s doubles teams each won a match, but fell to higher seeded teams in the District 6 Class AAA doubles tournament on Friday.

Gitanjali Bhushan and Juliette Greer, the third seeds, won 6-4, 6-0 over Mifflin County’s Michaela Debenedetto and Sam Hendricks in the quarterfinals, but fell 6-4, 6-1 to second-seeded Nur Kardakhali and Alyssa Kustanbauder of Hollidaysburg in the semifinals.

Caitlin McGlaughin and Amy Poisssnat won 6-2, 7-5 in the round of 16, but fell 6-0, 6-1 to top-seeded Marissa Lanzel and Susie Ellis of Hollidaysburg in the quarterfinals.
