JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. Penn State moved up two spots to finish 10th at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate on Sunday.
The Nittany Lions best round of the three-day event gave them a 289 tally and a 15-over 879 team total at Blackthorn Club. Missouri won with a 7-under 857 total. Grant Milner of Memphis won individual honors at 10-under 206.
Jens Talberts final-round 69 helped him tie for 11th at 1-under 215. He was followed by Geoff Vartelas (tie-37, 220), Anthony DeGol (tie-42, 221) and Jay Woodward (tie-63, 227) in the 13-team field.
The Nittany Lions next compete in a week at the Georgetown Intercollegiate.
