IOWA CITY, Iowa Taylor Schram accounted for both goals as No. 4 Penn State won its ninth straight game with a 2-1 victory over Iowa on Sunday.
Schram scored three minutes into the game and added the other in the 56th minute to giver her four goals in the last three games as Penn State improved to 18-0 all time against the Hawkeyes. Iowa did outshoot the Nittany Lions 23-15.
Emily Hurd set up Schram with a cross on the first tally and Maya Hayes set up Schram from four yards out on the second score.
Cloe Lacasse knocked in the Iowa score as Erin McNulty made five saves for the win.
Penn State hosts Michigan State on Friday.
