A 41-year-old woman was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center on Sunday after an apparent heroin overdose, according to State Police reports.

The woman, who remained unidentified, required treatment after a heroin injection. She was treated at the scene, which police believe was in a vehicle at State Route 150 and Interstate 80 in Boggs Township.
