The Rockview/Pleasant Gap driver's license center now will be closed on Monday, Nov. 5, the day before the election.

The center usually is closed on Mondays, but the state Department of Transportation previously said it would open centers across the state to help residents with last-minute needs related to acquiring identification for voting.

A Commonwealth Court decision has postponed the voter ID law from taking full effect, so voters will be asked for photo ID at the polls on Nov. 6, but not required to show it.
