UNIVERSITY PARK Penn State will face four teams that played in last season's NCAA Tournament and has a pair of neutral-site contests on the schedule, announced Wednesday, for a program that will be celebrating its 100th season.
The Nittany Lions will host just five games next spring and will open the slate at Michigan on Feb. 9. The Wolverines, in their second year as a varsity program, will host the contest at Michiga Stadium.
The two neutral-site games include meeting Denver in Jacksonville, Fla., on Feb. 17, and Lehigh at PPL Park in Chester, the home of Major League Soccer's Philadelphia Union, on March 9.
The home schedule includes a visit from NCAA semifinalist Notre Dame on Feb. 23, Ohio State on March 2, St. Joseph's on March 23, Drexel on April 6 and Towson on April 13.
The road schedule also includes visits to Massachusetts, Binghamton, Bucknell, Villanova, Delaware and Hofstra.
The Nittany Lions will look to add a trip to the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament at the beginning of May.
