Four reasons to re-elect President Barack Obama:
? The first legislation President Obama signed into law was the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009, guaranteeing women equal pay for equal work.
? President Obama successfully increased fuel efficiency standards for new cars to 54.4 mpg by 2025. What is remarkable is that President Obama not only saved the automobile industry in this country, he also made sure the American consumer will benefit, too, from lower fuel costs.
? For the first time in our nations history, President Obama successfully passed the Affordable Care Act, that over time will provide health care to all citizens. Now students may stay on their parents insurance until age 26; pre-existing conditions cannot disqualify you from coverage; free medical examinations to prevent or catch things early; these are measures that will make our country healthier.
? President Obama successfully ended our unnecessary and costly war in Iraq and is winding down the war in Afghanistan. He killed Osama bin Laden, the mastermind of Sept. 11, 2001 tragedy.
These four accomplishments are indicators of a President who cares about us and our future.
