Penns Valley graduate Matt Brooker continues to perform at a high level for the Cedarville cross country team.
Over the weekend Brooker won his second race in a row and third this season when he won the inaugural great Midwest Athletic Conference championship with a time of 24:34 in the 8K race.
Brooker led a Cedarville sweep of the top eight spots as the Yellow Jackets took the team title with 15 points.

Shane Dorner (State College, Lafayette) has nine solo and 13 assisted tackles. He has 5 1/2 sacks and tackles for loss for a loss of 18 yards, one pass breakup and one pass defended. Lafayette is 5-2.

Colton Myers (State College, Juniata) has caught 12 passes for 123 yards.
Michael John (Philipsburg-Osceola, Juniata) has carried 11 times for 17 yards, caught four passes for 17 yards, returned 24 kicks for 437 yards and has two solo tackles and two assists. Juniata is 1-6.
Shay Ceglar (State College, Shippensburg) is the long snapper for the Raiders and has one assisted tackle and one fumble recovery.
Kurt Walker (P-O, Shippensburg) has a solo tackle and two assists for Shippensburg, which is 8-0.
Logan Belinda (State College, Westminster) has two receptions for 32 yards and two assisted tackles. Westminster is 3-3.
Colby Way (State College, Buffalo) has 20 solo and 15 assisted tackles. He has five tackles for losses of 12 yards, four sacks for losses of eight yards, one pass breakup and one pass defended. Buffalo is 1-6.

Rob Irwin (Bellefonte, Clarion) caught a 17-yard touchdown pass against Lock Haven. For the year he has six receptions for 79 yards and two scores. Clarion is 4-4.
Ian Smith (State College, Kutztown) has nine solo tackles and six assists, one tackle for a loss for one yard, an interception for one yard, one pass breakup and two passes defended. Kutztown is 4-4.
Bernard Smack (State College, Lock Haven) returned the opening kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown against Clarion. He has five receptions for 36 yards, nine punt returns for 38 yards and 28 kickoff returns for 623 yards. Lock Haven is 0-8 after losing to Clarion 30-28 on the final play of the game.
Zach Czap (P-O, Lycoming) had one field goal and two PATs against Widener. He has made three of six field goals and 19 of 21 extra points. He averaged 37.2 yards per punt in the loss to Widener. Lycoming is now 5-2.
