UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State's Mallory Peterson cashed in Friday with two goals to help secure the Nittany Lions's 5-1 win over Michigan State.

On Monday, Peterson earned her first Big Ten Freshman of the Week Award. Peterson now has five points this season coming on two goals and an assist.
