STATE COLLEGE Clarion edged State College to hand the Lady Little Lions only their second loss of the season, this one by the score of 3-2 on Thursday night.
The Lady Little Lions dropped the first set 25-23 before winning the second 25-19. The two teams would swap sets after that with Clarion winning the thrid set, 25-19 and State College taking the fourth, 25-20. But Clarion prevailed in the fifth game, 17-15.
Emma Weakland, Maggie Logan and Suzanne Horner were honored on senior night with Horner earning her 2,000th career assist in the loss.
