PARK RIDGE, Ill. — Fresh off winning its 15th straight conference title, Penn State is the top seed for the Big Ten Tournament and will meet eighth-seeded Iowa in the first round Wednesday in Bloomington, Ind.
The game kicks off at 1:30 p.m., with the winner facing either No. 4 Minnesota or No. 5 Illinois in Friday’s semifinals. The finals are Sunday for an automatic berth for the NCAA Tournament.
The Nittany Lions (16-2-1) are fourth in the NSCAA coaches poll and RPI rankings.
