I am the victim of a purse theft in Milesburg Park.

The person who robbed me of my identity took things that were important to me.

Maybe he or she didn’t care what I’m going through in replacing everything that was stolen, especially my husband’s gold tooth.

But I’m not going to let someone rob me of my peace of mind and stress me out. They were only material things.

I pray that God forgives this person. I do. It’s not on my conscience, but that person’s — if he or she has one.

I still have faith in my fellow man.

Someone almost robbed me of that, too.
