What a week. Jerry Sandusky got a permanent home and we rid Happy Valley of that stench.

We started to think that perhaps we could get back to some state of normalcy. But on Thursday, yet another bombshell for our community: Former Penn State President Graham Spanier was charged with conspiracy and perjury. It’s about time we get some answers concerning Spanier, Schultz and Curley, but what timing — less than one week from an election. This must be a coincidence, although it smells.

And with all of the bad smell around here someone decided to bring in something worse.

I saw on page C12 of the Centre Daily Times’ Weekender that “America’s Got Talent Live” is coming to the Bryce Jordan Center and featuring Jerry Springer. I thought we were trying to rid Happy Valley of this permeating stench.
