Penn State football: Jordan Hill and Kyle Carter listed as ‘day-to-day’ on playing against Nebraska

— Let the guessing begin on whether Penn State defensive tackle Jordan Hill and tight end Kyle Carter will play in Saturday's game at Nebraska.

Both players received the foggy “day-to-day” label in the official injury report released Tuesday. Hill sprained his left knee in the second half of last week's victory at Purdue. Carter injured his foot in last month's loss to Ohio State.

“They come in every day for treatment and we take a look at them in the training room, weight room and on the field,” coach Bill O'Brien said at his weekly news conference. “It will be a later in the week decision whether they can play or not.”

Running back Curtis Dukes will not play against Nebraska. Dukes suffered a concussion on the opening kickoff at Purdue.
