Friday’s CDT informed me that an anti-death-penalty protest had been planned at Rockview State Correctional Institute and that the appeals court had granted a stay of execution for Hubert Michael Jr.

It is sad that no anti-death group could have prevented him from murdering a 16-year-old girl 13 years ago, and he certainly did not grant her a stay of execution.

Criminals are given more consideration than they give their victims.
