Five injured in Potter Township rollover crash

State College - Centre Daily TimesNovember 18, 2012

Five members of a Spring Mills family were injured in a rollover crash Sunday morning on state Route 144 in Potter Township.

State police at Rockview said Craig and Suzette Done and five children, ages 11 to 17, were traveling in the vehicle. A trooper identified the occupants as family members.

Police said Craig Done, 48, was driving when his Volvo station wagon drifted off the roadway at about 9:05 a.m. Done tried to steer back onto the road but over-corrected, losing control of the vehicle.

The car traveled into a ditch and rolled over twice before coming to a rest on its wheels.

Emergency responders indicated at least one person was trapped in the vehicle when they arrived.

Police confirmed three passengers were trapped and had to be pulled from the vehicle. Centre Hall firefighters assisted.

One of the children was flown from the scene to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. The other children and the couple were taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment.

Suzette Done and two 11-year-old boys suffered what police called moderate injuries. A 17-year-old girl and 15-year-old girl suffered minor injuries. Craig Done and a 15-year-old girl escaped unharmed, police said.
