Penn State volleyball: Hancock honored again by Big Ten

— Penn State’s Micha Hancock was named the Big Ten Setter of the Week on Monday, the sixth time she has earned that honor this season.

Hancock posted 35 assists, eight digs and two blocks in a 3-0 sweep of Indiana last Friday, helping the Nittany Lions to a .452 hitting night, then had 38 assists and six digs while the team hit .317 against No. 22 Purdue.

The Nittany Lions (27-2), who have the nation’s best record and are now No. 1 this week in the AVCA coaches’ poll, host No. 14 Ohio State on Wednesday and Michigan State on Saturday to close the regular season.
