Bellefonte man arrested in reported armed robbery

A Bellefonte man was arrested Saturday in connection with a reported armed robbery in the borough.

Police said Mark A. Davis, 27, brandished a knife and demanded the painkillers Dilaudid and Roxicet from the pharmacist at Parrish Apothecary Shop.

Davis fled without any drugs, police said. He was later taken into custody without incident.
