Police investigating Toftrees home invasion

November 27, 2012

Police are investigating a home invasion Monday evening in Patton Township.

At 8:41 p.m., police were called to a residence on the 300 block of Toftrees Avenue. The resident said a white, or possibly Asian, man was inside her residence. The man fled on foot, police said, when the homeowner saw him.

He is described as about 5 feet 9 inches and wearing a red and blue striped sweater and blue jeans.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area around that time is asked to contact Patton Township police.

Ferguson Township and State College police provided assistance.
