A school is more than a building. It’s the teachers, staff and students who create a vibrant school community.

State High is not a “hunk of junk.” What a poor choice of words for school board member Dorothea Stahl to use.

I wonder how real estate agents in town react to that description when trying to sell a house in the school district.

I do agree that we need to update the school building. I just found the description “hunk of junk” very inappropriate.
